Morteza Nabipour is an Iranian visual artist born in 1941. He has experience in various art fields such as graphic design, sculpting, painting, printmaking and more. The artist usually creates his work in series, and each episode forms part of a flood of expression, in order to narrate a story. Here we have chosen a series of his impressionist paintings, inspired by the Kurdish mountains and western Iranian landscape. The series is entitled "The Murmuring Song". He makes these poetic paintings using different techniques, including accidental effects caused by running benzine over the canvas.
