Anna Wojcik is an architect and designer based in Rotterdam. Her sculptural project Topo Studies is the result of a love for very-distant and very-unknown lands and a fascination for old maps and atlases with their immense storytelling potential.
The Topo Studies project began during the pandemic, out of a longing to travel. As we run out of the little known places on earth (that explorers dream about), Anna’s speculative topography studies depict such imaginary remote locations. Her miniature landforms always come with a map, for the explorer’s orientation and safety.
